NATIONAL LIPSTICK DAY & OFFERS

Happy National Lipstick day everyone! I know, I know. I'm very late in uploading this. Only 2 out of 3 of the offers included in this post are available today only so take advantage of them whilst you can!

I decided to collect photos up of my favourite lipsticks at the moment and a few of my all time favourites. The majority are liquid to matte as I don't really like wearing anything else.

MY CURRENT FAVOURITES

I really love Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick Peach Club, they look very different in these two photos, the first is in natural lighting and the second is under a studio type light. Even though it is called 'Peach', to me it is more of a very muted orangey-red. It's great for everyday for me.

Another of my current favourites, which has been for the most part of this year, is Sleek Matte Me in Birthday Suit. Again, the first photo is in natural light, and the second is in a bathroom with no flash. For me, it's such a versatile nude, I like to wear it everyday but I do also like to match it with a dark smokey eye. This is the lipstick I've received most compliments on.

The current lipstick I'm constantly wearing is NYX Lingerie in Corset (as seen in my blog's main photo). There are no words for this lipstick. It is my absolute perfect nude. The coverage, longevity and colour are just amazing.

ALL TIME FAVOURITES

I done a review for this cheapy liquid to matte lipstick, Menow Lipstick in number 33

, on another post about Bargain Matte Lipsticks. It's one of the best for longevity and pigment. Menow lipsticks are a bit hit and miss with pigment and easiness to apply, but the darker colours are most definitely better. Number 33 is a deep berry purple and has been my favourite and most worn lipstick ever.

Makeup Revolution Salvation Lip Lacquer in Vamp is another purple I love. I don't wear this enough but it is such a gorgeous deep purple. It is prone to getting a bit flakey, but a good prep and prime of the lips beforehand does help this.

I don't wear red lipstick that often, as I don't think I suit it much any more. But Rimmel Provocalips in Kiss Me You Fool, as well as Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in Kiss Of Life, have been my favourite reds for a few years. They both have brilliant staying power and coverage. I go to Provocalips if I'm going to be eating as it is literally bullet proof against any food. Kate Moss' Kiss Of Life is my favourite go-to red for nights out.

I wasn't too sure where to add this lipstick to this post as it is new for me, I have worn it once out, but I know it's going to be my go-to purple from now on. I was on the search for the perfect blue-purple for me as it is my favourite. I found it in the form of NYX Liquid Suede in Amethyst. It goes on really creamy and although it does take a while to dry down, it is definitely worth the wait. It's my perfect purple and the creaminess makes it greats for an ombre lip as shown.
