Veet Sensitive Precision Beauty Styler
I finally managed to get my hands on the Veet Sensitive Precision Beauty Styler. I have always had my eyebrows threaded, except for the last time that my eyebrows were in dire need of attention, I decided to have a go at plucking them myself. I have plucked them before but not to fully shape. I did a pretty good job, to be fair and felt more at ease at touching my eyebrows myself instead of a professional. And I actually did prefer the way I done them, because I was being cautious, I didn't take too much off and realised just how thin my salon was threading them. So, when I saw the Veet Beauty Styler advertised, I knew I needed to give it a go.
THE PRODUCT
The machine itself is very light, easy to hold and is effortlessly manoeuvrable. The instructions were pretty straight forward, meaning it took 5 seconds before I got it on and working. One AA battery is required, which is included. As you can see in the second photo, there are 3 options to twist the bottom section to. To get the battery compartment open, twist to the left, so the line is pointing to the triangle, and the bottom section comes off to insert the battery. The O symbol locks the compartment back up and also ensures the machine is switched off. To turn the machine on, simply twist to the right, the 1 line and the machine powers up. To interchange the head, twist the head to the right and it pops off. The attachments all easily slide over the top.A small drawstring bag is also included to keep it all together!

BEFORE
DURING
I tested it to begin with on my boyfriends leg (he's so supportive), to get the hang of the different sides and see what the different attachments did. I used the small attachment first to see how close the trim is, the longer side didn't make much of a difference, but the smaller side took the hair down to a nice even trim. I tried it with no attachments and it completely removed the hair and left the skin smooth, with no bumps or irritation.
It was, as expected, harder to get used to using on my eyebrows. I made one slight mistake on the first eyebrow, but that's easily fixed with pomade until it grows back. The top, bottom and outer sides were definitely the easiest to get used to doing. The curve on the bottom side and the inner side were quite tricky and I did have to use the shorter side to make sure it was precise. To start the trimming, I brushed my brows up and straightened the hairs out, then I brushed them back down and used the attachment on the smaller side and went along the brow.
The whole process sounds easy and to be fair, it probably is. But, I do think it will take a while to fully get used to it and cutting down the amount of time it takes. Overall, it must of taken me about 30 minutes. I much prefer this to plucking as there's literally no pain so it's perfect for those who are sensitive. It also gives perfect straight lines, so it's doing the job of tweezers and scissors in one.
AFTER
As I said before, it is very hard to capture my natural brows in photos. I hope you can tell how straight I managed to get my brows. You can definitely tell the difference between my filled in brows before, and my filled in brows now. They are the perfect shape for me, and I done it all myself!
Tip: Remove foundation before using. I stupidly left mine on and you can see where it removed it on the photos
