I have always been quite simple with my brows and used a pencil and/or an eyebrow powder. My eyebrows looked good and didn't take much effort. I've never gone for another product as I thought it would be more time consuming. Noticing my local Superdrugs now has a Freedom stand, on a whim I picked up Freedom Pro Brow Pomade after hearing such good reviews on it. I hear it's a great dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade, plus it's 1/3 of the price!
THE PRODUCT
The packaging is nice and compact in a glass jar with a black lid, giving it a bit of an 'expensive' feel - the same as the ABH dipbrow jar. The range of colours aren't all that great and are mainly steered towards darker colours. I normally go for a medium chocolatey brown, as my hair is currently red, but all of the browns were either too dark or just weren't quite right. I found Auburn to be the perfect colour for me. It has a hint of a reddish tone so it compliments my hair the best over any products I've used before.
MY REVIEW
The first time using this, it was a bit tricky to get used to as it's much more pigmented than anything else I've used before. It is easy to use and get use to the way you like it, plus you only need the tiniest of product on your brush so for £5, it's going to last ages. I use Technic Slanted Brush for application, it's a small, compact brush so it's perfect for getting a sharp shape. I clean up using a standard small concealer brush and my favourite concealer Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.
This is the best product I've used, I don't own ABH dipbrow, but I wouldn't purchase it knowing I can get this product. My eyebrows are the perfect shape for me and I can easily control the pigmentation as it's easily blended out. I could spend hours perfecting my brows when I'm getting ready, but this makes it much easier to get my shape. Plus, the staying power is brilliant. I haven't used a powder over this pomade yet, only a setting spray, but I imagine setting it with a powder will make it even better.

Do you use Freedom's pomade or ABH dipbrow? Or do you own both, are they the same?
Happy Halloween week! If you know me, you will know I have been very excited for Halloween this year. It is the first Halloween that I have had my blog, so I can share lots of weird and wonderful looks with you all! 7 Days of Halloween will include a blog post a day, from today until Halloween! I have, and will continue to, put a lot of effort into these looks and ideas. I just want to give a quick shout out to all my amazing friends and family who have helped me with putting this together - whether it be letting me loose on your faces, helping me with ideas or simply reviewing my looks for me!
Day 4 of 7 Days of Halloween! I'm a big fan of horrors, thrillers and all of that sorts. So, I picked a few of my favourite characters/looks to recreate. I didn't want to choose characters that are on trend this year, but rather ones you can recreate for yourself if you are a beginner, or adapt further if you are more advanced. I think the characters I chose are easily adaptable, but you will also see how I created the SFX and how easy it is for you to do aswell!
Day 3 of 7 Days of Halloween! Sugar skulls have been so popular this year, as every other year, and I knew I couldn't live up to some of the standards out there, but I definitely wanted to give it a try. I've never done one before despite admiring them for so many years. They're so versatile, I've seen many elegant, pretty ones but also some darker looking ones. They also look good on anyone, I believe. What I learnt from doing one for the first time, as long as you have a steady hand, good face paints and an imagination, they're pretty easy to do!
