Hello beauties. Better late than never to return to monthly posts regarding my Birchbox subscription. Before Octobers box, I wasn't as excited over the products I had been getting, and I can't recall using them on more than one occasion. However, I loved the idea and thought behind October's box and in this box I got my favourite item I've probably received from Birchbox since I signed up, so I had to share it with you.

Day 4 of 7 Days of Halloween! I'm a big fan of horrors, thrillers and all of that sorts. So, I picked a few of my favourite characters/looks to recreate. I didn't want to choose characters that are on trend this year, but rather ones you can recreate for yourself if you are a beginner, or adapt further if you are more advanced. I think the characters I chose are easily adaptable, but you will also see how I created the SFX and how easy it is for you to do aswell!

Day 3 of 7 Days of Halloween! Sugar skulls have been so popular this year, as every other year, and I knew I couldn't live up to some of the standards out there, but I definitely wanted to give it a try. I've never done one before despite admiring them for so many years. They're so versatile, I've seen many elegant, pretty ones but also some darker looking ones. They also look good on anyone, I believe. What I learnt from doing one for the first time, as long as you have a steady hand, good face paints and an imagination, they're pretty easy to do!

*warning* post contains blood Day 2 of 7 Days of Halloween I was afraid I was going to be late with this post and it's only Day 2 - how unorganised am I? This post is mainly me just messing about with liquid latex. I have done a few bits before but with no focus, really. I love bloody, gory, disgusting looking SFX, so I wanted to dip my toe into that side of makeup. I've watched loads of tutorials and how-tos, but you can only really learn by getting stuck in. I learnt a few tricks simply by experimenting and I am actually quite pleased with how they turned out.

Happy Halloween week! If you know me, you will know I have been very excited for Halloween this year. It is the first Halloween that I have had my blog, so I can share lots of weird and wonderful looks with you all! 7 Days of Halloween will include a blog post a day, from today until Halloween! I have, and will continue to, put a lot of effort into these looks and ideas.  I just want to give a quick shout out to all my amazing friends and family who have helped me with putting this together - whether it be letting me loose on your faces, helping me with ideas or simply reviewing my looks for me!  

A couple of months before Christmas is probably the worst time to shop for myself. In fact, I really should stop and consider before every purchase I make from now until Christmas. I'm sure the majority of makeup addicts can relate. I've put together a collection of new products and products I've found over the last month that I can't wait to own.
