Hello beauties.
Better late than never to return to monthly posts regarding my Birchbox subscription. Before Octobers box, I wasn't as excited over the products I had been getting, and I can't recall using them on more than one occasion. However, I loved the idea and thought behind October's box and in this box I got my favourite item I've probably received from Birchbox since I signed up, so I had to share it with you.
October's box was based on your own star signs element. For example, I am a Capricorn therefore I got the 'Earth' box. Of course, it could only be personalised if you have entered your date of birth into your Birchbox profile. The packaging is definitely a favourite of mine and the added bonus is the stars glow in the dark!

OCTOBER'S PRODUCTS

I'm sure most women have used Batiste dry shampoo spray, if not, it's the top dry shampoo brand I would recommend to you. I personally loved that a travel sized can was included. The Eyebrow Brush is branded as Birchbox, and I could not find it on the Birchbox shop, so I can only assume it's exclusive to Birchbox subscribers. I personally prefer spooly brushes than these types of eyebrow brushes, so I haven't reached for it that often. So far I have only used these two products, the collagen booster and the Lord & Berry lipstick. The collagen booster is packed with vitamin C so it's great for even sensitive skin. I love the scent and feel of this, it left my face feeling moisturised and really soothed. Lord & Berry's Crayon Lipstick is the best product I've received from Birchbox. In fact, it's the best crayon lipstick I've ever used. It's such a great light pink nude, which I believe will suit any skin colour. It's one of few of the longest wearing, smear free lipstick I've used and even lasted through an entire meal! I would 100% recommend!

Happy Halloween week! If you know me, you will know I have been very excited for Halloween this year. Day 4 of 7 Days of Halloween! I'm a big fan of horrors, thrillers and all of that sorts. So, I picked a few of my favourite characters/looks to recreate. I didn't want to choose characters that are on trend this year, but rather ones you can recreate for yourself if you are a beginner, or adapt further if you are more advanced. I think the characters I chose are easily adaptable, but you will also see how I created the SFX and how easy it is for you to do aswell!

SUGAR SKULL

Day 3 of 7 Days of Halloween! Sugar skulls have been so popular this year, as every other year, and I knew I couldn't live up to some of the standards out there, but I definitely wanted to give it a try. I've never done one before despite admiring them for so many years. They're so versatile, I've seen many elegant, pretty ones but also some darker looking ones. They also look good on anyone, I believe. What I learnt from doing one for the first time, as long as you have a steady hand, good face paints and an imagination, they're pretty easy to do!
