As England has been experiencing a rare case of heat this summer, my skin has been breaking out like crazy. Most of all, the redness these break outs have been leaving behind have been taking weeks to go and no product I've found has sped up the process. For a while, I was in search of a good tea tree product, as I've heard such good things. I have tried pure tea tree oil on my face before, but it didn't do any good so I gave up with tea tree. Then I came across
Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel range and for the price, I couldn't not try it!

The
Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Night Gel was the first product I tried. I wasn't overly impressed, but I did like the smell and how it left my skin feeling soft and moisturised when I woke up. Unfortunately, it didn't help my break outs and the redness that came with them. However, I do like how light and refreshing this night gel is, also how it clears my pores nicely, so I carried on using it. The formula is a gel, but it does not leave your skin greasy afterwards, my skin did look oil free and clear, because of this I have occasionally used it before applying my makeup to keep my face shine free.

I didn't get the full benefits of the gel until I started using the
Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Peel Off Face Mask. This mask has the same texture and formula as the gel. Honestly, I didn't have high hopes, I generally don't with peel off masks - none have ever worked for me. However, this magical peel off mask defied my odds. Upon first use, I loved how much the redness on my face reduced. It does wonders for spots and clears them up no problem. My skin looks much clearer, fresher and healthier. I do only get this result with using my favourite
skin perfection micellar water straight after to get rid of any excess then using the gel afterwards. The bottle is small, however so far I have got approximately 5 applications plus a bigger area space application on my boyfriends back. As you can see in the photo, I still have just under half left so I was impressed at how many applications I can get for this price! I will admit - my most favourite part of this product is peeling it off. Every time I've used it, it comes off in one piece (how satisfying??).
Have you used any products from this range before? How did you find them? If not, what are your holy grails for clear, spot free skin?
