IN SITU MILK CLEANSER REVIEW

insitU Cosmetics are the only brand to offer personalised skincare, customised entirely for your skin's needs. I found this fact alone very interesting and I was so intrigued to see how the whole process works. Their view is one-fits-all skincare doesn't work, and I do agree with this, seeing as I am always on the hunt for a solution to one skincare problem or another. I loved the idea of having one solution to all my skincare issues in one bottle. So, when I was offered a chance to review their Milk Cleanser, I was excited to see if their products lived up to expectations.

Firstly, you can choose which product you use to personalise. You can choose between cleansers, exfoliators, toners and moisturisers. They all do a different basic jobs, so you can choose the one you prefer. You can customise the bottle by adding your own photo and your name. The next step is to answer a few questions, such as age, skin type, skin tone and what concerns you the most about your skin. The feature I liked the most is you top up with a mood boost. You can choose between "calming" "feel positive" and "blissful".
The options I chose were, combination skin, fair skin tone, anti-oxident defense as what concerns me the most and the mood boost I chose was feel positive.

THE UNBOXING

Upon opening the box, it was really well presented and seemed more expensive than it is! I loved the packaging and I can't bring myself to throw it away! Take a look at the unboxing here.

THE REVIEW

The Milk Cleanser contains Vitamin E anti-oxidants that protect, repair and nourish. The grapefuit, orange and rosewood extracts not only offer a radiant glow, but makes the cleanser smell incredible.

I used this every day for roughly 3-4 weeks and I noticed a huge improvement with my skin within the first week. It gave my skin that extra push for me to feel better about going make up free. My blemishes were lightened, spots were less frequent and my skin has been the most hydrated it has ever felt. It felt like a 2-in-1 product for me, not only a cleanser but a moisturiser too.

My skin looked more radiant and always felt super clean after using it. It does recommend to use once a day, but I found myself using it twice a day, mainly because I love overnight creams so I used a thicker application at night to see how it fared as an overnight cream. I am sure this is the reason I saw results a lot quicker than I have any other products.

The formula is really light weight with a silky texture, it hydrated and moisturised my face without having the greasy film left behind. It also works great as a make up remover - even on stubborn mascara and liquid liner. I found it is best to apply the cleanser to a cotton pad and hold it over your eye for a few seconds before wiping away. This way it almost melts the make up first, making it easy to wipe away. I don't have much luck with makeup removers - aside from good old coconut oil, but this is one of the best ones I have used. And, of course, one of the best cleansers I've ever used. The good thing is - it's great value for such a fantastic cleanser.

Have you used this brand before? If so, how did you find the products? If not, are you interested? What are some of your favourite cleansers?
