BIRCHBOX JUNE 2016


The beginning of the month is my favourite as I receive this little beauty every month. I have been subscribing to Birchbox for 5 months now and I have not been let down yet. I love skincare products and Birchbox, so far, has been full of them. Accompanied with a few makeup and hair care products. Through Birchbox, I have found some amazing products. As always, I can't wait to try these products out. The Huygens exfoliating cream (which is a Birchbox exclusive!) smells incredible - just like lemons, I have high hopes for this one and I'm already interested in buying the full product just because of the smell. I swatched the Eyeko liquid eyeliner and the Jelly Pong Pong lighten up pencil and they both look amazing. The eyeliner is easy to use and hold because of the thick and sturdy pen. The lighten up pencil looks great against my pale skin, I definitely think it will do a great job as a brightener and along my waterline.

Veet Sensitive Precision Beauty Styler

I finally managed to get my hands on the Veet Sensitive Precision Beauty Styler . I have always had my eyebrows threaded, except for the last time that my eyebrows were in dire need of attention, I decided to have a go at plucking them myself. I have plucked them before but not to fully shape. I did a pretty good job, to be fair and felt more at ease at touching my eyebrows myself instead of a professional. And I actually did prefer the way I done them, because I was being cautious, I didn't take too much off and realised just how thin my salon was threading them. So, when I saw the Veet Beauty Styler advertised, I knew I needed to give it a go.

FREEDOM EYEBROW POMADE REVIEW WITH TUTORIAL

I have always been quite simple with my brows and used a pencil and/or an eyebrow powder. My eyebrows looked good and didn't take much effort. I've never gone for another product as I thought it would be more time consuming. Noticing my local Superdrugs now has a Freedom stand, on a whim I picked up Freedom Pro Brow Pomade  after hearing such good reviews on it. I hear it's a great dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade , plus it's 1/3 of the price!
